A sensitive topic needs a serious home

R. M. Prozessfinanzierung takes on the cost risk of a lawsuit on behalf of those affected, against online gambling operators or against banks. Most who arrive here have lost money they would rather not talk about, and they are cautious accordingly. The previous site had grown over the years and no longer looked like the company behind it. What was needed was a main presence that brings every topic together, makes the person visible, and earns trust in the first moment.

"Anyone who wants to recover money they have lost decides on one question first: does this look serious enough to entrust it to someone?"

One roof over five topics

Casino, crypto, poker, sports betting, credit fees: five concerns with little in common, except that people want their money back. Bringing them all under one presence without it turning generic was the real task.

  1. 01

    The starting point

An older site, extended over the years, with topics that no longer all fit. It carried the business, but it did not show it at its best. The rebuild was meant to tidy up without throwing away what people recognised.

  2. 02

    Five equal paths

Each of the five topics got its own full page, none as an afterthought. So everyone finds exactly what concerns them, with no digging through someone else's subject to get there.

  3. 03

    An easy first step

At the centre sits a guided case review. Pick a topic, answer a few short questions, done. Instead of an off-putting form, a calm path that ends in a personal first assessment.

  4. 04

    Trust made visible

Ronald Mechtler stands behind every case by name and face. Add the press coverage, the transparent worked example of the fee, and the plain promise that no lawyer's retainer is due. Evidence rather than big words.

  5. 05

    Live and in seven languages

The new presence fully replaced the old site, loads fast and works with keyboard and screen reader. By now it comes in seven languages, from German and English through Turkish, Romanian and Hungarian to Chinese. Not everyone affected speaks German, and nobody likes to read up on a legal question in a foreign language.

Topics get added, rulings shift the picture, the market moves. A main presence is never finished, and this one keeps growing: a provider database with hundreds of detail pages, a steadily expanding blog, by now over 1,000 pages.

Serious, but not cold

Money, law, trust: none of that tolerates effect for its own sake. The base is a deep navy, with a warm gold to signal what matters, such as the free review. Calm serif headlines give the topics weight, and angled cuts between sections keep the presence modern without ever getting loud. Deliberately nothing off-the-shelf, but a presence of its own that has grown up.

Strategy

Five topics ordered under one roof, the person as the anchor, the path to the free case review kept deliberately short

Design

A grown-up look of its own in navy and gold, calm serif headlines, angled cuts instead of boxes, the person and the evidence at the centre

Visibility

A clear architecture across five topic pages, a guided case review, a provider database and blog, seven languages (German, English, Turkish, Romanian, Hungarian, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, Chinese), over 1,000 pages by now

Quality

Accessibility (aligned with WCAG 2.2 AA), fast load times, GDPR-compliant and consistently data-minimal

What this project came down to

Five topics, one presence

Online casino, crypto, poker, sports betting and credit fees, each with its own page and yet clearly from one house. One roof you find your way around quickly.

A guided case review

A clear, multi-step path from question to first assessment. A low threshold, no officialese, and a real person replies at the end.

The person at the centre

Ronald Mechtler stands behind the cases in person. Press coverage and a transparent worked example of the fee turn a promise into something you can check.

Seven languages

The entire presence exists in seven languages, each with URLs of its own: German, English, Turkish, Romanian, Hungarian, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian and Chinese. Nobody has to speak German to get help here.

Our presence had grown over the years and at some point no longer fit us. Florian Keusch brought all of our topics under one roof, calm and serious, without anything getting lost. Today we have one address we can send people to with a good feeling.
