European Accessibility Act: Does it apply to your website?
Since 28 June 2025, Austria's Accessibility Act (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz, BaFG/EAAG), the Austrian implementation of the European Accessibility Act, has been in force. It requires many, but by no means all, businesses to make their websites accessible. The key question is not what needs to be done, but whether it applies to you at all.
